 Djaï est un amour de chat, pot de colle, curieuse, joueuse, avec du caractère ! Elle a une habitude qui est de mordiller pour exprimer son amour. Doucement c'est supportable et elle est tellement craquante que l'on ne dit rien ! Parfois c'est douloureux et elle se retrouve éjectée des genoux ou des bras où elle se trouvait ! Elle revient alors tranquillement comme si de rien n'était. Il parait qu'il s'agit d'une habitude héritée du sang d'abyssin qui coule dans les veines des Ocicats ! Habitude confirmée par le seul vétérinaire que nous ayons rencontré qui avait des ocicats en clientèle. Djaï is a love of cat, pot of glue, curious, player, with the character! She has a  custom which is to nibble to express her love. Slowly it is bearable and she is so crunchy that we say nothing! Sometimes it aches and she meets ejected by knees or arms where she was. She returns then quietly just like that. It adorned that it is about a custom inherited from some blood of Abyssinian which flows into the veins of Ocicats! Custom confirmed by the only veterinarian whom we met who had ocicats in clientele. 

Mais au fait, d'où vient l'Ocicat ? En 1964, une éleveuse américaine, Virginia Daly, voulait obtenir des siamois tabby point. Pour cela, elle maria un chat croisé Abyssin-Siamois avec un Siamois chocolat. De cette union, naquit le premier Ocicat, à la robe particulière qui rappelait celle de l'Ocelot. Ocicat vient donc de la contraction entre les mots Ocelot et cat. D'autres mariages eurent lieu chez d'autres éleveurs, entre Abyssins, Américains shorthair, Mau Egyptien et Orientaux. L'Ocicat est un chat-chien, très actif et comme le bengal ne supportant pas la solitude. La TICA et la CFA reconnurent la race en 1986. Le premier Ocicat arriva en France en 1989. By the way, where from comes Ocicat? It is another hybrid, as the bengal, but without crossing with a feline. An American breeder, Virginia Daly, wanted to obtain from Siameses tabby. For that purpose, she married a crossed cat Abyssin-Siamois with a chocolate-brown Siamese. Of this union, was born the first one Ocicat, in the particular dress which called reminded that of the Ocelot. Ocicat thus comes from the contraction between the words "Ocelot" and "cat". Other marriages took place at the other breeder's, between Abyssinian, American shorthair, Mau Egyptien and Oriental. Ocicat is a cat-dog, very active and as the bengal not supporting the solitude. The TICA and CFA recognized the race in 1986. The first one Ocicat arrived in France in 1989. 

L'Ocicat est un chat encore rare et il mérite d'être connu. Tous nos visiteurs ont pu le constater !! Djaï est là, intrépide, voulant absolument voir du monde et se faire voir, et n'hésitant pas à communiquer avec amour même en mordillant, n'est-ce pas Vinh !!  Ocicat is a still rare cat and it deserves to be known. All our visitors were able to notice it!! Djaï is, fearless there, wanting absolutely to see of the world and to show, and not hesitating to communicate with love with her teeth, it is not Vinh!!  

Djaï est le cadeau d'anniversaire que Corinne Conus (femme formidable !) de la chatterie Rois-Soleil a offert à Rémy pour ses 15 ans. Encore une fois Corinne, un ENORME merci pour cette petite merveille. Djaï is the birthday present which Corinne Conus of the caress Kings-sun offered to Rémy for his 15 years. Once again Corinne, an ENORMOUS thank you for this small marvel.

Djaï a été le premier nom de la ville d'Ispahan, c'est pourquoi la Perse est mise à l'honneur avec Djaï. Djaï was the first name of the city of Ispahan, that is why Persia is put in the honor with Djaï.
